FOR THE ROLL-UPS


  • Cooking spray
  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 (16-oz.) instrumentation cheese
  • 1/2 (10-oz.) box frozen spinach, thawed, wrung out, and shredded
  • 1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan, and a lot of for garnish
  • 1 massive egg
  • 2 tbsp. thinly sliced basil, and a lot of for garnish
  • 1 tsp. lemon rind (optional)
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 1/2 c. pasta sauce sauce
  • 1 c. cut cheese

DIRECTIONS


MAKE PASTA SAUCE

  • In a massive deep frying pan (or medium saucepan) over medium heat, heat oil. Add onion and season with salt and pepper. Cook till onion is soft, 5 minutes, then stir in garlic and cook till sweet, one minute a lot of. Stir in ingredient and cook till darkened slightly 1 minute, then add crushed tomatoes. MAKE ROLL-UPS

  • Preheat kitchen appliance to 350° and grease an oversized baking sheet with cookery spray. in a very massive pot of boiling preserved water, cook lasagna noodles in keeping with package directions till hard. Drain then place steamed noodles on a ready baking sheet. 
  • In a massive bowl, combine cheese, spinach, ½ cup Parmesan, egg, basil, and lemon rind till combined. Season with salt and pepper.

Place roll-ups in a baking dish, seam-side down, and spoon over remaining pasta sauce. Sprinkle cheese on high.
  • Bake till cheese is melty and roll-ups are warm through, regarding twenty minutes. 
  • Garnish with Parmesan and basil before serving.
